Moving in to a noo house in noo year, loking to have a huge mofo 50in plasma wall mounted and I`m lusting after one of these to max out my sloth and viewing pleasure :) link

they are circa 2k :eek:, is that mental?, anyone know of QUALITY alternatives?, first tim I sat on one of these Stressless recliners I DID notice the patented 'glide' thang happening without prior knowledge/influence by marketing etc. I made a mental note then (some years ago) that these were super comfy.........
 
If you have to ask a forum whether you have 2 grand or not to spare, could I suggest calling your bank manager instead? He's more likely to be able to help you with this.

If you're going plasma, might as well add another 1k for the damage to your electricity bill, while you're at it.

Edit- The chair doesn't look like it's worth 2k either.

Also add another 1k for screen replacement for when screenburn settles in since it's a plasma.

I've sat on my uncles stressless chairs. They were the 'chelsea' version but not quite so padded. Pritty much the pinicle of comfort for me. It's normally quite hard not to fall asleep in them. Worth the money if you can spare it.

I'm not sure what the question is (or indeed, if there is one)... however, I'll assume the thread is based around the fact that they cost a lot. If so, I would recommend a La-a-boy, I don't personally own one, however hear a lot of good things about it.

I'm not one for complaining over someones spelling and the like, but please make a little more effort in the future. It was rather painful to read if I'm honest.
 
Its a chair. Chairs are crap. Get a sofa.

1) Why on earth would you want to sit on your own
2) Even if you do occasionally want to sit on your own a sofa is better as you can lie down/stretch out/move about.
