What Upgrades are needed for VR?

Would like upgrade recommendations to allow this pc to play some vr.
Specs:
CPU: ryzen 5 2600
RAM: corsair vengeance rgb pro 3200mhz 16gb
MOBO: msi b450-a pro max
SSD: adata su630 240gb 2.5inch ssd
HDD:Seagate barracuda compute 1tb 3.5inch
GPU:asus ROG Radeon rx580 8gb
PSU: thermal take Smart rgb 500w 80+
Monitor: MSI mag241cp 24 inch 144hz monitor

Should be able to play VR already? Lol. Have you actually got a VR kit and tried playing? What games have you tried and FPS? Can see on the vid below RX 580 looks to play perfectly fine.

That said if you actually want to upgrade, depends on your budget? Could grab a 5600 XT or 5700 XT. Depend what performance you're after and ££ available

Wasnt sure if it would be able to play vr already didnt think it was powerful enough. I dont have the pc yet getting it soon just wondering if I can tweak or upgrade parts to play vr which was an interest in getting a pc in the first place. Thanks for help.

Defo just wait and see how you get on then mate. RX 580 is a 3 year old GPU, but still very capable @ 1080p. :)

If you struggle then yeah look at upgrading the GPU to begin with. You might want a larger SSD for your games, as imagine you'll fill the 240GB very quickly.
