What Video game genre's do not interest you?

RPG's without a doubt, the whole turn based stuff just doesn't interest me in the slightest and that's without ever playing one. Who knows I might even like the likes of Zelda & Final Fantasy if I gave one half a chance...

Most RPG's ( but not all).
Footy games ( only played PES4, but got bored of that quite quickly too).
Action/adventure games ( give up too quickly, doesn't attract me to play on).
Since I got my license, car/racing games.

I love:
RTS.
Turn Based Strategy.
FPS.
Open world games.
Beat em ups.
Sim games.

sporty type games animal crossing type games
call of duty is the biggest pile of *insert the most extreme profanity here* i've ever seen,
but i love fallout 3 and rpgs and racing games,

Beat-em-ups
Most 3rd person games; 3rd person cameras do my head in.
Rehashed sports franchises

You should. None of the Zelda games are turn based. They're not even RPGs by most peoples' definition, more like puzzle games.

I cant stand beat em ups like Tekken and Street Fighter etc, but ill happily play away at a boxing or MMA game.

Hate football as a whole so the games have no interest to me, but ill play Madden and NHL until the cows come home.

Not that big a fan of JRPGs or MMOs the only one ive played and like have been Fallout 3, Oblivion and Final Fantasy 10.

Other than that im fine with anything :)

Edit - Except games requireing me to flail about like a tit a la Wii etc

Sports games.
The majority of driving games.
I quite like fighting games but can never justify shelling out £40 or so for one.
Any RPG that has a turn based fighting system.

Football games.... completely don't interest me at all.

Don't get me wrong, I love the sport, both watching and playing, but playing computer games related to football just bores me.

Driving games are boring as hell as well. I just want to turn around and drive in the opposite direction to create the best possible crash

MMOs bar World of Warcraft, it's like the league of the great pretenders.

Beat Em Ups, I hate how you can spend ages perfecting your moves and some button slapping little oik comes along, flails on the pad like a seal and beats you.

I also don't tend to bother with the online "PvP" aspect of many games, I really tried with WoW and to a lesser extent, MW2, but it just depresses me as I get to meet some of the dregs of society and the lengths they'll go to to get some honor points or a better K : D ratio.

RTS that requires a lot of micro management like starcraft. It's too much to keep track of one thing here and there before you know it, you've been overrun and game over, man, game over. Single player is pz easy but multi is a no go.

I like most genres but rts just don't do it for me. No idea why. Closest that I've enjoyed were games like dawn of war and company of heroes. Basically, limited units and not too much management.

I like pretty much all genres as sometimes a genre that you’d not normally like throws up a classic, such as Brutal Legend. That game had elements of RTS, or say Fallout 3 is an RPG.

Its online I’m not liking, only as a lot of players online spend hours and hours learning the game and you get a right kicking, or leaderboards are hacked and you stand no chance of getting on there with a honest time you can be proud of.

Also, I hate online trophies and awards. Why? Some can’t even get online and I hate how they use online to produce a sub standard single player campaign and say well, online increases the value of the game. COD MW2 and MOH Tier 1, this is aimed at you..!!

Get a few mates round or family splitscreen or two player – no problem. But online. Not interested. Unless I’m online with friends that I know will play fair.

I know online is sign of changing times, but until more developers like Rock Star for example take control and ban cheaters then its no fun…

Simulation, Sports, JRPGs, Rhythm games.

Really don't like any 'Eastern' games like MGS, Ico/SotC. Guess it's because I missed the PS1 era due to PC Gaming.

Or anything with Quick Time Events.

Or Demon's Souls. **** you Demon's Souls. **** you.

Ah yes QTE. I hate this at times... GOW is full of them, thankfully some of the time you don't need to use them, I was surprised to see Star Wars force unleashed II still using them.

Some games they work, Heavy Rain is a perfect example of how to use QTE, but Star Wars force unleashed, a quick moving slash um up, it was frustrating to say the least..

I've not played demon soul's but heard it tests you, and you die so many times.. lol
