What Virtual Reality games are you playing?

One of the things you should know with the UEVR app is that there is an option to centre your view in the cockpit. As the game doesn't currently natively support VR there isn't one in the game options. Thankfully you can do it with the UEVR overlay as pictured...



Just choose camera and Recenter View.

Well I’ve been concentrating on two parts of the Alsace rally track, one in each direction and my best times are about 2 minutes 59 seconds. The CPU drivers are posting times of 2 minutes 21 seconds so I’m way off the pace.

Maybe when I play against real people they won’t be as good as the CPU drivers. I hope!

How does that work against other people in a Rally game? presumably you still just race on the track by yourself? and then the times are compared at the end? like real Rally?
 
Here's the leader board you get after every session. You can see here that despite driving as fast as I could I still finished 28th...

If that suits the way you want to play.. all good.. but I like a bit of social interaction in my racing.. and we have some good laughs while doing it.. I guess that's why I don't do AI races at all..

Definitely this. AMS2 is the top game for VR support.
We're a bunch of idiots but you should certainly join us :)
 
Had a quick first go at Assetto Corsa Rally in multiplayer, joined a lobby and clicked ready. The game started and I drove to the start line. You have to wait 60 seconds for the other players.

First game the camera view was wrong, I wanted my usual cockpit view but it was set to behind the car. Looked in game settings and discovered I didn’t have a button assigned to changing the camera view.

Assigned one to a button on my wheel and started again, got into a lobby with 5 other players. The stage started and my camera view was right, ended up finishing 4th and two drivers DNF.

At this stage my Quest 3 was running low on battery so I quit, will give it another go tomorrow.
 
Well after a lot of mucking about trying to find a decent server doing the rally stage I wanted, I got into an 8 player server. Suffice to say it didn't go well, I totally suck! See the leader board after I finished my stint.

 
Had a much better time with the servers today, I found it best to just get into one that is doing a stage you like and wait for it to end so you can start the next round. I had about 4-5 rounds with 15 or so players today and while I still suck there are others who are just as bad.

This was one of my better runs no mistakes so no penalties but still 32.467 seconds off top spot.
