what volts do you push through you're 7970?

Setsuna, Something you can try.

On Bios 2, (the one with Dual link Enabled) i flashed a 7970 DC2 Top Bios, this bios was from a card with a higher stock voltage.

Its idleing at 1.085v and loads at 1.064v so that 0.030v ish more

What tool did you use to flash the bios as ive got myself a top bios but when trying to use atiflash it keeps telling me it aint compatible or something.

I use the ATI flash dos thing, You will be told its not correct but you have to force it useing i think:

atiflash -f -p 0 newbios.rom

Something like that

Let me know if it raises your volts please, if it does then at least we know that if we can get a bios editor for the 7970 we can change the voltages!

I have been ok with 1200/1600 so far, diablo 3 runs perfect, but as we know that's not exactly a GPU loader so will load up BF3

i eventually flashed my BIOS and yeah it raised mine the same. haven't moved up to 1200mhz yet but i will do tomorrow after work and Ive been hammering BF3 on 1150 and it runs so smooth on ultra settings it really is amazing.
