Hi Folks,

I seriously hate my Motorola Razr V3x. In fact, I dislike all Motorola phones. I find the phone OS to be buggy, laggy and poorly designed. I've also got a technical fault with my V3x causing it to cut out when I close it and it turns off randomly, it's very annoying.

I've got to that stage where I want a simple phone. But I want it to look good with a good OS, syncing with my Mac would be a bonus.

Am I right in thinking a Sony Ericcson would be the way to go, if so, what model would you recommend.

Cheers

My experience with a Sony E phone has left me never wanting one again. I had the k700i and the joy stick that you use to navigate buggered up, it crashed more times than my pc, and it started to randomly delete numbers from the phone book.

Nokia all the way from now on :)

Daughter's new KRZR K1 is near perfect.
Sync to PC fine, memory card import works with no hassle.

The only minor drawback so far is it takes a while longer to switch on and get to the first menu. But she seldom switches it off, so no problemo :)

w810i. doesnt have that joystick, doesnt have that problem. ive never been so...satisfied with a phone as i have the w810i. i dont own one, the gf does, but it just does everything right. i've never owned a nokia that has does everything so well. s60 phones whilst being far more versatile aren't anywhere near as quick to use, and the same goes for windows-mobile powered phones.

There's a list of compatible phones with iSync on Apple's website. It doesn't look like it has been updated in a while though.

Generally it looks like any Motorola, Nokia 6XXX and above and most mid/high-end SE models will sync well.

Got my dad a v3 (he doesn't need a fancy phone just one with bluetooth) and bluetooth headset for his chrimbo and it finds the headset but won't connect what a P.O.S, when messing around with it for ages I also noticed it liked to hang on menus.

The headset is fine as I checked it on a k750i, d600&900 incase anyone asks.

Think I'll be taking it back to the shop tomorrow and just paying the extra for a d600 or something similar.

The joystick on my k750 does seem a bit dodgy as well, although it did go through a good bit of use.
