It would be the 80's / early 90's. It had a trade name, I've been trying to remember.

I think I had a Raleigh burner in the 80's and maybe another generic one.

That colour scheme was the absolute dogs dangly bits. Liked the 'Gold' too. BMX in that era were so nice. Some of the high end models were gorgeous. There was one i can never remember the name of. Kinda Japanese name? I'm sure someone will remember.

Mushroom grips, layback seats, even the brake levers of my BMX. I remember every little detail. Diamondbacks were nice too.

When i see what passes for a BMX these days, i feel sorry for their owners.

Ah I had a Mongoose californian with Skyway tuff 2 wheels. Wow now that takes me back

I remember going through my Right trainer using it as a brake on the rear tyre.

Also for the pre-BMX days, these names will surely resonate with many of you:

Budgie
Boxer
Chipper
Chopper
Grifter

All Raleigh iirc.
