What watch do you wear?

Was looking for a cable the other day and came across my old Tag watch, looked it up online to see if it was worth anything and found out that is a Bond Watch.

It was worn by Timothy Dalton in The Living Daylights (1987).

Its in good condition except for the clasp which has the black colour worn off, going to look into getting it a new battery or a full service.

Always fancied a Certina but never seen any shop selling them to try , pretty good quality prob the swiss version of mid range seikos.
Had to hold the watch upto the window as the green looks black unless in a bright area.
could see why the seller sold it so cheap as had to put 3 links back on , the 43mm must have looked like a dinner plate on his wrist.

Bought my Cartier Santos Dumont about 5 years ago , the blue leather Alligator strap was the best leather strap i have ever felt and it fit the contours of the case perfectly with the proprietary interface, but after 5 years of sweat and bug spray it started looking a bit grim.
Its a weird size as well 17.5mm to 16mm , tried an aftermarket strap but just didnt sit right even though it cost £50 , got in touch with Cartier who would sell me one for £320 , was just about to order it when a last search on ebay to try to find it cheaper brought up a listing for an SS bracelet (only the recent released Dumonts come on bracelets).
So tracked it down to good old Aliexpress and got this for £40 (thats for the bracelet not a dodgy fake watch), even had the cartier interface.

The whole range are great - and amazing value for money. Theyre also upped their game with the AVI8 and Nubeo sub brands too!
 
Upgraded from my series 8 SS to the Ultra 3. Battery was down to 70% on the 8 and so it didn't even last 20 hours anymore :(

Have to say I'm absolutely loving it! Much more interesting watch faces available. Battery life is incredible. Charged it to 100% at 6.30pm and its only down to 74% 23 hours later. I've been tempted by the Ultra for a while and then a 3 week old one popped up at a good price and I couldn't resist.

Gonna lower the average price of this thread by quite a bit, but at £7 off and an expiring £15 giftcard meant I finally bit the bullet on the Lorus Lumibrite.
Wanted a glow in the dark watch and a cheap well made analogue to stick on the outside of my winter jacket.

Got a new strap from my Moonswatch, I like it but it cost £2 and feels it. Need to find one of similar pattern that is 10x the price and 10x the quality.

You can keep the Moonsplodge but that Lorus looks objectively great. And the second hand is hitting the markers!

Got the same one some years ago, but still like it. Super light and slim. Great visibility too
