What watch do you wear?

I feel that when people buy large watch boxes they end up buying more "filler" watches. I've got a 6 slot myself. Only one slot left and one slot to be replaced. The plan is to have:

A watch i bought 30 odd years ago that I cant replace. A Seiko chrono.
A gshock square.
A diver
A beater.
A GPS watch for sports shiz.

Last slot is a military watch, maybe a dirty dozen type watch. I haven't fully decided yet.

But then Ill probably buy a 12 slot box as soon as its full. Such is the game.

Currently to go into the box

1 - A Seiko Kinetic I bought when I was a teenager. It still works!
2 - Steinhart Ocean One
3 - my Kickstarter watch
4 - Seiko 5 Fifty Fathoms lookalike
5 - the new watch
6 - Apple watch
7 - Murph?
8 - ???

This should be a good realistic and reasonable goal for now. Although I can name like half a dozen watches that isn’t too expensive (relatively) that I like, such as that metronome watch, a Brew watch, one from Mr Jones and a Certina ph1000 and a Seiko Captain Willard?

I also have a Parnis that loses like 2hrs a day… and an Omega knock off somewhere deep in my drawer and staying there.

edit - ordered the 8 slots box.

A watch I'll never wear to go along with my G-Shock!

The watch box from Amazon arrived. It's very rough round the edges, very sharp with very little sanding. I may get some 2000 grit and round off the edges a bit but for now I've applied some wax for wood on it to make it look and feel a little better. It does feel cheap but does the job.

Anyone bought a Yema navygraf phantom?

Love the look of it but not sure that finish is going to be durable as a daily wear watch.

I’m turning to the help of OCUK on this one…

I’m getting married this weekend, normally wear silver but wanted to mix it up and keep a warm tone with my light grey suit/brown shoes/sage tie. Picked up these two beauties but I’m stuck with which to go for! Each has its pros and cons…. I’m taking votes, I appreciate I am probably wearing these a little low on the wrist in these photos.

So vote away and help me pick!

That seiko is stunning. The cocktail time watches are all beautiful.

I see that and... 1970s, brown suit, big shirt collars, the sound of wah-wah and police TV shows.. very Beasty Boys Sabotage. However I can see how it would work as a smart cocktail watch - good artistic design and better than the other by a mile.
