It's the watch my parents bought me for my 18th birthday and my first round the world yacht race - I chose it because it didn't tear the rubber cuffs on my sailing jacket. I have far fancier pieces, but this still makes me smile the most.
And if those pins on the bracelet connecting the bracelet to the watch head ever wear you do not need a new bracelet. They can be re pinned. a lot of places will not know this or perform this for you. It would save you money.
