What watch do you wear?

I am looking to get new "working/outdoors etc." watch and have come across the G-Shock Rangeman which I can pickup for about £140 for the next few days on TheWatchShop.

Anybody have any experience with this model? Are the G-Shock watches well made or are they more brand/design over substance?

Cheers

Finally bought one, I'm sure the poor lady in the jeweller was utterly sick of me by the end but I did end up buying so it wasn't a total waste of her time.

I started by trying the orange bezel planet ocean, absolutely loved it but something was just niggling that I might love the bezel now but will I still love it in a year......probably but it put a doubt in my head.

I tried both the blue and black 300m but I do have rather large wrists and they looked a bit too small faced, it's a pity because looks wise they are stunning.

I went over to the Tag case and although there were some really cracking ones there was nothing that just grabbed me, maybe as a second higher end watch I would have got one but I just wasn't sold......again.

Breitling.....sorry but they just don't do it for me, at least not any I saw yesterday.

To cut a marathon story shorter I looked at almost every brand and ended up with a seamaster planet ocean, it has a black face, grey bezel and 3 orange numbers, 6, 9 & 12 on the face, when I tried it on I turned to my now bored silly but incredibly tolerant wife and said "that's the one", I bet she knows how I feel when she goes clothes shopping now lol.

Thanks for any help I have gotten, apologies for my gushing above but I'm sure you all remember the first quality watch you ever bought and that feeling.

Pics please!

I'm really terrible at pics, I took some last night and I made a beautiful watch look like it had a hammered finish.

I'll try again tonight, only using my iPhone....

I'm on the search for a white faced 38-40mm dress watch, one that is slim enough for suits for around the £1 to £1.5k mark. I've seen the Oris Artelier and also like the Junghans Max Bill for their simplicity. Stowa Antea has caught my eye but not sure if dressy enough? (Would love a Nomos but just a stretch too far at the moment). Anything else I should take a look at?

Cheap watch for weekends and scragging around the house and garage.

£110 all in. Nice little thing and saves damaging my nice stuff.
