What watch do you wear?

Cheap watch for weekends and scragging around the house and garage.

£110 all in. Nice little thing and saves damaging my nice stuff.

I picked one of these up last week, too. I fear it's rekindled my love of watches - Tissot Tradition Open Heart on its way now, too.

It's a cracking little watch. Comfy to wear once the strap loses the stiffness, light, legible and accurate. Makes me realise what a waste of money expensive watches are, though to be fair their are assets....so I am told.

Indeed, I've been wearing it a week and the strap's just starting to settle down. Was just starting to get sick of battling with it too :)

If that's the case, then you're still being ripped off with that Tissot when a cheapo digi watch from Casio will do the same job :p

Much the same. It was too rigid at first and therefore the watch kept swivelling around on my wrist but not now, it's settled and feels good and sits where I put it.

Do you think you'll now wear your 'nicer' pieces less because of the Tissot?

I work from home often, so my watches don't get worn that much these days. I used to wear an expensive watch each and everyday, put it on when I got up but these days I am more without a watch than with.

I really miss the weight of a decent watch on my wrist. I have a fitbit, and it just doesn't feel the same. Hasn't been charged in months.

Tempted by a Smart watch as posted above. But then again I could just keep some money to one side and cross off a watch purchase I've wanted for yonks :o

Zero information on their site about those, just 'sign up'. I want to know what movements they're using, what materials the case will be made of, what the dimensions are, you know...stuff that you need to know about!

I would need to know the movement, is it sapphire glass, and casing material before i am even interested.

Saying that, i did back a watch on Kickstarter this week, but I know all of the above info.

I was about to press go on a Hublot I wanted the other month, but had a second thought in the shop. Lot of money for jewellery and there are many things better to put my money on frankly so bulked and walked out. I'm in London next Wednesday night for a private function with one of the premium brands so shall probably need to leave my wallet at home as I am useless with the willpower thing when I see shiny things. :(

You're always welcome to buy your good mate Jake (that's me) something shiny. I really wouldn't mind. :D

I don't have a watch other than the fitbit. So it certainly wouldn't be wasted!
