What watch do you wear?

I was supposed to be getting a Pebble Time 2 but that didn't go to plan.

Started looking at traditional watches instead and went for the Christopher Ward C5 Malvern Automatic MKII:

They've replaced it with a MKIII now but I think it looks too busy compared to this.

I would need to know the movement, is it sapphire glass, and casing material before i am even interested.

Saying that, i did back a watch on Kickstarter this week, but I know all of the above info.

Hey Raymond, I managed to get a little information with regards to the makeup of the watch ..

Sapphire glass and dial, the movement is Swiss automatic from a company called Sellita. The case is made from a single piece of 318L steel with a 'high grade' IP.

Just had an email saying less than a week until launch. Any ideas what a decent price could be?

Well, the one I backed on Kickstarter with a similar spec but Japanese movement is £220 and considering you can get a Steinhart for about £350. I would say I personally wouldn't go too high on an unknown brand.

None. Dislike any watches or jewellery on my hands/body. Do like the look of Omega watches, but again I would not wear it much so it would be a waste :(

Thanks Phate, I fancied something a bit more sporty for evenings / weekends - like the fact the strap is bead blasted so should take a bit of a beating.

funny I'm the same which is why I couldn't spend anymore that about 100 quid on a watch. even if I was a multimillionaire I don't think I could spend any more on watch - there are some nice ones in here though but I find watches/rings to fiddly (if anyone knows what I mean!) - to the point I very rarely wear my wedding ring!

Yeah. When it comes to something like say gold, I prefer coins and bars :)
