What/who changed us most in the nougthies?

The average age of the first time buyer in the UK is now 35-38 dependant on what source you look at... That's mental!
 
I can't believe how much the world has changed in the past decade. Just look at how quickly Twitter has become a part of modern culture - every advert and signboard now has a website and Twitter address displayed. And of course Facebook has pervaded society too (although I have no intention of ever using it myself).

Tied to this is mobile phones. Just look at how many people you now see walking around looking at a screen in their hand.

The 2000's must have been the biggest, fastest change in society since the industrial revolution. Before that what actually changed every decade? Fashion? I guess the previous big changes were perhaps the personal computer going relatively mainstream in the 80s, and then CDs in the 90s?
 
Osama Bin Laden without a shadow of a doubt. He turned us all into potential terrorists rather than citizens, and forced the FED to create the debt bubble which led to our current global mess.

The WTC incident was just the trigger. We are still living with the consequences.

Sounds like statism is the problem here...
 
Not sure when this changed but peoples perception of each other,

Everyone seems so hateful now, friendliness seems like its dying with past generations and is replaced with hate and jealousy,

Also everyone is a suspected pedophile now, I know as a child you have always been told not to speak to strangers but as an adult don't even think about smiling in the direction of a child to be friendly because its asking for bad news.
