For a billion dollars I'd read all the disgraceful things that people will say they'll do in this thread, and mourn the materialistic, money driven society we live in.

I predict a lot of deplorable posts. I imagine there's already been some, but I didn't read past the end page 1.

If I'm allowed to answer seriously, I'm not sure that I'd go very far. I mean, I think my life is going to be quite good without the added bonus of a billion dollars. A billion dollars might make it hundreds of times more fun, but then again it might not. Would you really want to be known as "the guy who stomped kittens to get rich"?

And yes, I know the kitten thing was a joke. I was just using it as an example!

That's about how I feel.

I wouldn't turn down a billion, provided what I was required to do was legal, fitted within my ethical boundaries, wasn't too unpleasant and didn't cause any severe personal unpleasantness (like getting me divorced). But I don't value any sum of money highly enough to go too far for it. For instance, I'm not serving jail time for it, nor even risking that, and so on.
