What would you find hardest to give up

Internet/News. Feel so disconnected if im not updated for more than a few hours.

(talking news updates not facebook status updates)

Wow, 30 posts before this is mentioned, and before this we have gaming and internet :D. I was sure the first post would be fapping followed by many quotes of fapping or +1.

Anyhoo, I require lots of music every day. Don't even need a TV. Also I don't drink or smoke (only drink socially, don't actually like the stuff).

He said to exclude the necessities of life. Breathing, fapping etc.

I think the internet is almost as much a necessity to life these days as food/drink, so I'm not going to say that.

I would find it impossible to give up jerkin' the gherkin. Seriously. I once went a week and it was surprisingly hard. And I have a gf.

I would be upset to not have the internet, nice food, women etc but I've always thought I would just top myself if I ever lost my hearing. Music is what I absolutely love and could not imagine ever being without it.

Books and the internet, probably the internet more. So damn useful and my job in IT would be impossible without it.......... or would it be easier?? :s

Couldn't give up my PC and Internet in general. But could easily give things up such as Facebook.

Pretty much this for me, If I gave up my pc, I would lose many close friends, Plus I would not know what to do with myself.

I looked online, and I am classified as addicted to the pc/internet, But I couldnt give two sh**s, aslong as your staying helathy, Taking regular breaks ect ect. It isnt so bad for you.
Plus I pump ungodly amounts of my money into games and pc stuff.

Oh well, Im doing networking at college next year so that will fill my time more but at the moment, I cant see ever giving up computing.

Like most people here, this:
Couldn't give up my PC and Internet in general. But could easily give things up such as Facebook.

But that's really it as far as "vices" go, other than the essentials of food/water/rest/exercise/clothes/etc...

Everything else is easy for me to go without.

Well i've given up drugs, alcohol and cigarettes but the internet would be the hardest thing. It has so much info and i learn something new off it everyday.

Probably my car/driving. The amount of opportunities it's opened up and things it's allowed me to do with such ease is fantastic. Would struggle without it.

Depends where you live. When I lived in Switzerland the public transport took you just about anywhere, including the remotest villages and mountain passes, combined with a lot of friends with cars I was happy for 5 years never owning one. Especially since there were lots of rental options if need be, including things like renting cars by the hour, and these rental cars were typically left in train station car parks, shopping centers etc and you would just unlock the car with your credit card.

Here in the US a car is a must have for me since I spend most of my free time in the wilds, traveling to the coast, mountains, dessert, forests. I've done 12,000 miles since January and I walk to work!
