Going with a lot of responses here - the internet for me.
Like with the OP, I did WoW too, way back in vanilla from late 2005. The whole of my first year was total Warcrack addiction, fairly new guild at the time and we learnt Ony, MC, ZG, AQ20, BWL. We got all of those on farm and we were halfway through learning AQ40 then the Burning Crusade came out. It was great being part of a progressive guild at the time but I was definitely too addicted to the game and I couldn't see how to break the addiction. Thankfully, Blizzard released the Burning Crusade, which I saw as a blessing in disguise because that was what killed the game for me and my guild. We became casual players for another 2 years, briefly saw the next expansion with Northrend then weaned off the game completely. The great thing though is that I still meet up with the guildies for real.
