A friend is starting a job at an architects soon, where she'll be using CAD etc, of which she has a basic knowledge. However, she has a very limited knowledge of windows generally, aside from being able to access the internet etc. Wanting to be a bit more confident when she arrives at her new job, she's asked me to teach her the basics. Her husband has done the ECDL, so still has all the disks from that, but I think a lot of that stuff is quite unnecessary, and am looking at just teaching her from my own "resources".
So, what would you all consider to be the key skills that someone should know? I think I'll start off with a typing program to improve her skills in that area, as this obviously would greatly enhance general productivity, but after that, where would be your first port of call?
Many thanks,
Rob.
