What would you say classifies you as being 'rich'...?

...is it purely that the person just has lots of money

...or more money then they will ever need...?

...or enough money to do or buy anything they want.

    opinions please :)

When someone can go into a shop, buy what they want and not look at the price.

    1) That depends on what you find lots of money
    2) Also depends on what you think is needed to live, basically all you need is food and water, the rest is luxery
    3) Nobody has enough money to do what they want, give a rapper another million and he will buy another Bentley and 5 kilo of spinning chains :D

Depends on your definition of lots of money and who you are comparing your self to. I would not consider having a million in the bank a filthy rich however some would.

...or more money then they will ever need...?

Yes I would think of this as rich however you will find as you have more and more money your standards go up and you need more and more money to keep what you consider a good lifestyle.

...or enough money to do or buy anything they want.

This is what I consider comfortable, someone that can go out and spend a reasonable amount (few thousand) without having to give it too much thought however cant just wakeup in the morning and decides he fancies buying an SLR.

Been rich to me would mean I would not have to work again in my life, have more money than I could reasonably spend. 10 Million would be a nice amount for me as I would not go silly and buy yachts, speed boats airplanes 2nd and third homes etc.
