What would you say to your 12 yr old self?

I'd tell myself what numbers to play on the lottery.

As for the video..mildly amusing, was expecting something much better from all the praise its getting.

I would tell myself to eat more Haribos, aim to be in the food industry as everyone eats instead of wasting a couple years of my life aiming hard at stuff I have less passion for but thought that'll net me more money.

Oh and tell myself to never trust Renault cars. Ever.

I would tell my 12 year old self -

1) When you reach 18 and are sat in the court room (A room in court not an actual court room with judges etc) collecting your inheritance your parents left you in their wills and the man behind the desk says,

"What are you going to do with this money?"

Please don't say,

"Buy a new TV and Stereo."

Instead tell him you are going to invest and save it up instead please.

Also.

2) Don't go to the travelling fair in Derby when your 16 with a school friend called David.

3) Don't tell Susan sat in front of you in Science class to "close your legs, there's a draft"

4) Don't draw, on a sheet of paper, a couple having sex whilst you are in an English lesson, complete with written down sex noises.

5) Keep your Dennis the Menace fan club wallet with badges in at home when you play American football on a small green outside Stuarts house using folded newspapers as shoulder padding.

6) Pay attention to classes in school and stop drawing 'big willies' on the History work books.

7) When Imelda went to kiss you in the dinner queue at school. Don't back away.

8) In 2009 don't join the '30 something only' group on Facebook.

9) Don't worry about you having to wear glasses. Most people wear them now even for cosmetic purposes.

10) Don't lose contact with your Brother and Sister.

11) When someone at your 3rd job says "someone fancies you in one of the offices upstairs". DO NOT go and find out who it is. Instead, stay with whoever you are.

And finally,

12) Don't try to look through the gap in the door as it hinges onto the frame as its ajar to your Aunties bedroom as she is getting undressed when you are on holiday during the school holidays at their house in 1998.

It's not the right thing to do Chris.

Believe me.

When breaking up with girlfriends, remember to keep your dignity in tact. The feelings of love will fade, but the embarrassment of bad decisions lingers.
