sooo xmas is over back from holidays. got some new games. (or oldish games)

The Movies
SWAT 4
Baldurs Gate complete (on dvd no more disk swapping yay!)


on xbox got

Scrapland
Fable


also in the SALES I managed to get a hold of the newish Battlestar Galactica 1st series for £12.99 so im well pleased :D (retailing at £29.99)

so i just have too many games to play atm. think ill have a look at The Movies and then Fable :)

Got Splinter Cell: Double Agent and Dark Messiah. Double Agent sucks compared to Chaos Theory and runs like poo; Dark Messiah, however, is really good.

Also got Prey for £9.99 in the sales but that hasn't arrived yet. :)

i loved SC:Chaos theory. Ive heard Double Agent is a complete change from this format? (ie the classic Sam fisher non-linear-ish mission based stealth em up with hi-tec gadgets) Is it still Michael Ironside doing Sam's voice?
 
What's on the BG dvd? 1 and 2 I guess? And the expansion?

You'll enjoy fable. Still got it for my xbox, which is dying. Beauty of a game.
 
i got a ticket to I30lan in april, so happy about it aswell :)

four days of sitting in a big room with sweaty geeks/nerds playing games and smelling odd... this is a good thing right?

yeah includes sword coast expansion for BG and throne of bhaal for bg2. I remember playing bg2 ages ago and swapping disks all the time for different areas....used to annoy the heck outta me.

Still it was excellent, i hadnt got that far in bg2. Out of the tutorial bit into the main areas did a few quests. then i had cleared out some mansion (i think its the one with the 1st dragon you meet which is verrrrry difficult to kill on the first meeting)and this girl was offering to either come with me or me to keep the mansion and make money off it?? i cant remember it was sooo long ago.
 
You've only just started then. Ooh there are some treats coming up :D I still haven't finished it actually, I gave up after a while for some reason. Will have to play again or buy this dvd edition. Would love to play the original again.
 
I got Neverwinter Nights 2, not started it properly yet, but even creating your character is abit to heavy! Loved BG so hoping I will like this when I get into it...

I might buy prey. Is the multiplayer any good. I dont have time/cant be bothered with single player modes
 
i finally got Half life 2 :D and im thinking of getting dark messiah, im just downloading the demo now to see if it plays well :)

R6V seems to be GRAW with shader model 3.0 support, plus some new moves for the charactors, still enjoying the game though.
Apart from the fact that the MP lobby is crappola.
