What you guys make of the arctic cooling headphones?

Well, my first reaction is, what? Why on earth is an after market cooler manufacturer putting their name on some OEM phones? Silly question really, thinking about it. Gamers will buy them because it has AC's name on them, which will be a nice little earner for them. If I am gonna to spend £30 on some IEM's, it certainly won't be a pair which have been slapped with a companies name that specialises in fans and heatsinks. Nvidia branded toaster, anyone? Aimed at gamers who like toast in the morning.

A PC hardware site, gave them a very decent review. Although, such sites did say the Speedlink Medusa's were excellent. Make of that what you will. Best wait for a site whose opinions haven't been bought by a nice brown envelope full of money. Maybe an experienced IEM user on Head-fi will get curious, and buy some.

I looked on headfi. Someone who reviews dozens of pairs of cheap IEM's was selling a pair but no comments on them.
