What you guys think?

Not too bad for a first attempt. Here's a couple of pointers:

Animated GIF's are bad in 9/10 cases. Try to use them sparingly. That animated back button in particular is extremely jarring.

Try to keep your font styles consistent, you have three distinct pieces of text on the page and none of them look the same, especially as you've used two kind of 'handwriting' style fonts, along with times new roman, a much more formal looking font.

Other than that, the minimalist design is definitely a good start, as it's easy to see what it does and doesn't look crowded.

As has been said, not bad going but little things like font and animated gifs will make a difference.

One thing that i noticed though was that you are using some very large images...

"3872px × 2592px (scaled to 1024px × 768px)"
"1246.65 kB (1276567 bytes)"

Don't scale images down, just shrink them in your image application, and it will decrease image size and load times, plus modern browsers will resize them automatically anyway.

If you want to show a smaller version keeping the bigger versions, show a smaller version, but not the full one scaled down. Size and load times....

If you must use the large images, save them as progressive jpegs, progressive jpegs will load progressively. More info here...

19 WS are 1440 x 900 normally, so even a 15 or 17 inch can be higher vertically.... if the screen does 1280 x 1024.

I would recommend Highslide over Lightbox as it doesn't fade out the rest of the page and stop the user from doing anything until the image is loaded. There are also several other benefits.

Also, you should write a bit of text about yourself.
