Whatever happened to BTX?

Before I lay down some wonga on a premium ATX case and PSU, I just want to make sure there is no chance of BTX rearing its ugly (albeit practical) head again in the next 5 years.

If it does, can someone hit it with a shovel.

BTX i think was invenetd by Intel to account for the obcene power output of its late-generation Netburst chips, with C2D it just didnt have to bother anymore.

I think some DELLs use the layout, but toher than that nothing else seems to, and i think ATX is here to stay for the foresable future.

i currently have a PC which is AMD that used BTX and made by HP, which is an interesting mix

some OEMS use it afaik, atx is here to stay for everything else though
