Whatever happened to Ocz's phase unit?

AFAIK its still in pre production stages. Ive seen demo units about, but thats about it tbh. You can have a search around on the XS forums for more info, as the guy from OCZ sometimes posts on there.
I can't see it happening! How long ago was it announced? They were having trouble with sorting out warranty set up and delivery IIRC. It was meant to cost $350 and be a budget Mach2GT / VapoLS, but with the dual core and especially Quad core CPU's giving the higher capacity units trouble - I can't see the market for budget phasechange.
they royally screwed themselves by pricing the unit too low when first announced and then realising later that RMA's & shipping costs would push the price a fair bit higher thereby making it not so attractive.
a lot of ppl also realise high-end phase change is really the only way to go with dual/quad core all the rage, their unit was worse performing than a stock LS or mach-ii which you can easily bring to it's knees.
