If yours is the Asus Prime B350M-K it will take most of the Ryzen 3000 series CPU's as long as you update the BIOS.
For example; It's supported the Ryzen 5 3600 since BIOS 4801
It may 'support' more expensive CPU's like the Ryzen 7 3700x/3800x/3900x but I don't know enough about your motherboard to comment on how well it would cope with the higher power requirements.
With a decent power supply (I like Seasonic and Corsair but there are many other good ones) of around 650/750 watts you could easily upgrade to a Ryzen 5 3600 and an Nvidia RTX 3070 (assuming you could find one).
This would make for a very nice gaming machine at 1440p. At 1080p you would get very high frames per second. If you don't already have one you'd want to get a high refresh rate monitor next. Maybe a 144hz 2560x1440. Or a 240hz 1920x1080 if you wanted the higher frame rates.
