What's it called: Hex nut/spacer thing?

This is a strange question, but I am trying to get hold of some of the hex spacer things that are attached to VGA and serial ports to be able to fix the connector in place.



Does anyone know what they are officially called so that I can try to find them?

That's very similar to Motherboard standoffs. I would give them a go or if you haven't got any then a quick Google search should point you in the right direction

Yeah, I think they're exactly the same as a mobo standoff. Do you have two? Check that the thread size is the same on both ends.
