Whats the Belinea 101927 19" TFT Like?

Hi guys, Has anyone got one of the Belinea 101927 3.9ms 19"TFT's? If so what's it like? I have had a look around and can't really find out anything about it, certainly no reviews for it. Uses will be mainly for gaming and also the internet. I have found it for £172.73 which is £44.26 cheaper than my first choice monitor which is the Viewsonic VX922 which i have found for £216.99 inc Delivery. The best part of £50 is a big difference to me so any info would be much appreciated.

There's some details about it and comparing it with some of the other top gaming models here which might help. Also the Belinea was covered on Tom's Hardware, but strangely not translated on the English site. French site review translated here for you

Cheers for that.

They put it on top over the VX922 for gaming and as it is so much cheaper then i guess that's my choice. Be interesting to see how one of these TFT's compare to my 21" Sony Trinitron.

yeah they were quite positive about it at THG. It's not a widely used model that i've seen, but if you can get it for a good price, the performance should be good. Let us know if you do get it

I will do one of your test thingies on it. Will be buying next week. For just under £173 it can't be bad and only an extra £5.50 for postage too.

Ok then, i just got it today. Ordered late yesterday and recieved 4pm today for £176.46 delivered. Bargain!!

First impressions are it's a nice monitor. Going to take a while to get used to the lower screen resolution (1280x1024 compared to 1600x1200 for my Sony Trinitron) but no doubt i will get used to it. Just been playing with the settings and it's almost there but needs some fine tweaking. Seems very bright to me and draws my eyes. Just about to play GTR on it so i will get an idea of what it's like for gaming. At just under 4ms it should be ok. Controls are excellently sited at the lower front edge of the frame. Monitor is all over black and looks cool. Did'nt come with a dvi lead though so i will have to go out and get one before i do one of Badasses test/reviews. By then i should have got used to it too.
