Hi,

I understand this question has been asked a number of times, however I couldn't find a comprehensive thread answering the question. So apologies for sounding like a broken record.

I've finally decided to invest in a new TV, will be my first HDTV and as such don't know a great deal about them, ideally not looking to spend more then £900, so I understand it might not be the best 37" but the best all rounder for the price would be great.

It would be used for Xbox 360, HD Sky and eventually high def DVDs (as well as a number of SD channels). I understand LCD would be better for the gaming? Would like 1080i (or 1080p but I understand this wouldn’t be noticeable on a 37"?)

I have had a look on avforums aswell as overclockers but still confused on which one to get.

Really appreciate any help you can give, also looking to have it by Saturday for the rugby, so if anyone has good supplier suggestions that'd be fantastic too.

Thanks in advance :)

Of course my bad, forget about recommended suppliers then :) thank you for suggesting Panasonic TX37LZD70 I'll have a read about it now. As much as I'd love to go 42" sadly my living room just barely has the space for a 37"

That's a shame. I've been using a 32" in my bedroom previously which seemed huge at first but then seemed to shrink as it became a familiar fixture. Now I'm going to try and get a 42" in there. All right in the winter but in the summer months it'll be like an oven in the room.

Got to say the Panasonic TX37LZD70 does look very nice, does anyone have first hand experience of the TV, it as good as the specs suggest, also anyone else have suggestions :)

Thankies
