What's the better game? BF2 or BF2142?

BF2 is a better game.

Special Forces maps, 64 player sized, 32 player server = win. Grapple hooking/Zip lining your squad around the city is bloody brilliant. 64 players is a bit of the grenade fest.

Titan mode in 2142 in brilliant with balanced teams though! Had some really epic 'Battlefield' moments in the game!
 
2142 for me. Titan mode is awesome. And at this point in time, im very bored with the modern war/ww2 settings. BF2 is a beast but im just fed up with the setting now. Walkers are awesome in 2142 aswell.

Really liked 2142, some really great moments with my old clan in both games though. Wish they'd bloody hurry up with the 2142 Steam release though!
 
BF2 with pack 1.50 and KARKAND map, there is nothing better out there.

the shoddy shooting physics, grenade spam and cheaters, its the only game I have been playing for the last 2 years just in love with it(sad i know) LOL:D
 
BF2 is the better game, but I preferred 2142 if I was playing by myself rather than with people on comms. 2142 had slightly better physics and the bullet reg was a lot better :)
 
bf2142 never really appealed to me when i was playing bf2 but i decided to give it a go. i am so glad i did, i prefer bf2142, some of the matches were superb, to this very day i miss playing it and hope to find my copy somewhere to reinstall.

i only wish that the new games that are being release would have multiplayer on the same scale without the need for things such as 8 player teams, which imo has spoilt the battlefield series and become more of a cod type game.
 
BF2 was probably the more popular due to the setting, but 2142 beat it hands down for balance and overall teamwork.

But then, I still preferred BF1942 above them all...
