hereditary baldness is passed down through your mother, so it's people on her side of the family you should be looking at to measure your chances of losing your hair![]()
Yep.
There are some brilliant videos on make hair loss and what you can do about it by a bloke called Spencer at maximumhairminimumloss. You have to pay for it though - I did and he didn't give the free 1 hour Skype that it said you would get and then got really nasty with me when I filled for the 'no questions asked' refund. If I pay £38 for a few videos then I want to get the full flipping service!
Top videos and the bloke knows his stuff, but he is a bit of a cry baby.
In fact if anyone wants them I could burn them to a DVD for you. Afaik they have no legal protection on them I'd have to check first. They are very good educational videos on men losing their hair, what treatments work and what are a load of BS (which is most things to be honest). You must take finasteride if you want to slow/prevent loss. Minoxidil works in a different way and does help, but without finasteride you are wasting your time imo. There are a few (as in one or two) horror stories on the internet regarding finasteride but if you read the instructions on a packet of ibuprofen you think you will die!
As previously mentioned, I have done lots of research and some money on roughly 12 months worth of hair treatments. I took photos before and will see how I get on. There are no miracle treatments for hair loss though and it is very much a case of once it is gone, it is gone. At 24 my hairline has heavily gone north and the hair on top is thinning, so I thought why not give it a try as I am quite paranoid about my hair. My grandfather had no hair at age 21 so I am pretty much ****ed!
