whats the difference between the Samsung SM2433BW & Samsung SM2443BW help and s-pva?

Hi all

still trying to get a good 24" 1200 res monitor i was woundering what is the difference between the Samsung SM2433BW & Samsung SM2443BW as these seem to be the same spec but about £40 difference.

also is there a better monitor than these 2 on a tn panel as i have given up on the dell and hp ips models as they seem to have to many problems.

would a s-pva panel be better than tn but just behind a ips model and would the responce and black levels be just as good is there a s-pva panel out there better at the moment.

i ask this as i need a new monitor this week and i need to make my mind up before xmas

Dont' know about the Sammys, but the HP LP2475w really is a top class monitor. I use mine for games, and don't notice any ghosting or input lag. The colours and viewing angles are superb, and the stand actually has a decent height range.

I went from a 2433BW to a Dell 2209WA. Lost 2" and 1920x1200 to 1680x1050 but the Dell e-ips panel is so much better. Viewing angles and colours are much better than the 2433, the built quality is also 10x better.

The stand isnt just a piece of plastic with 2 teeth in that i needed to almost jump on to get the screen onto it after applying soap and water!

thanks all but 22" is to small upgrading from a 222 crt and a 22" is smaller than my screen

so anyone know what is the difference between the Samsung SM2433BW & Samsung SM2443BW

I have the 2443 and I *think* the only differences between the 33 and 43 are the stand and surround.

I can't stand the glossy finish on black electrical goods that seems to be in vogue. The 2443 is matte finish and with a very professional feeling height and rotation adjustable stand.

I don't know for sure if the 33 uses a different screen or if the stand is different, that is just my best guess.
