Just fly from Dublin and if they pull you in just tell them you will sort things out with HMRC up north.possible work around wold be seeing if the "seller" can invoice you for less than you paid. If they know you going to a different country then they have no worry abut having to deal with an RMA. Still dodgy but even if you have a £2000 product if your receipt says you only paid £xx.xx then you'd be covered. Just ask them to receipt it as "B-Grade" which normally invalidates the warranty anyway and you will find warranties vary depending on region anyway so no major loss
