Whats the first thing you install once built a new system?!

Excluding all the drivers and operating system, what is the first thing people install? - these can be anything, quirky nice little programs/games/etc... i need some ideas so i can test my new machine when the parts arrive this week :D

Personally i'll be installing BF2... :D

What Do You Install?!
 
Hmm... NOD32, Sygate Firewall and Microsoft Office? :)

Oh and first game that goes on is Counter Strike... and my Silver Steam Package. :D
 
Norton, Zonealarm, ACDSee, Adaware, spybot, firefox, winrar, codecs... too many, i've actually got a list of the programs on my desktop, since i used to install winxp so many times.
 
Excluding updates/AV/security apps it's probably Opera then Irfanview top of the list for me.

Edit - and the uxtheme jobbie so I can run the milk theme.
 
Aside from the common office apps and virus / spyware protection.....

Winrar
VLC
Winamp
Newsleecher or Ninian, I usually end up with both installed.
Nero
Firefox

Then I install a whole lot of spyware filled apps I don't need, clog up my system and restart again:p

The essential apps-
*ConTEXT- Text editor
*WinRAR- Archives
*Office/ OpenOffice
*EXT2FSD- Linux EXT3 filesystem driver
*IrfanView & Paintshop Pro- Images
*Sketchup- 3d modelling app
*Google Earth
*Azureus/ Edonkey 2000 (Original)- IMHO the best combo of filesharing apps.
