What's the happiest moment in your life?

I had all the shiny original three. Had a massive ring-binder fulla 'em.

My grandmother used to get angry when I asked her to buy me Pokemon cards from the local post office once a week. She had more financial sense than I back then...

dont be silly......... shinny charizhard never exsisted......least thats what i told my self after buying ridiculous amounts of cards......

I think I once stole my mates Shiny Charizard...he did steal my Pokemon Gold though :(

Loved that game!

Mrs Dimple never looked at me once on our wedding day in 1980.
I don't think she knew I was there.

Are you sure she's noticed you in the 32 years since :)

I'm honestly struggling to think of mine. There's quite a few that are very high up there for happiness. Being young I still don't have a massive stand out 'getting married/having kids' moment, but I do have lots of good moments :)

I think I might actually still have the original three pokemon cards, shiny around somewhere.....

The birth of my kids ranks right at the top, after that i have a whole list of times they have done something that made me proud of them that feels almost as important.

Probably when I found out I'd got a first for my degree.

I remember that with me, was fun, but not as fun when i found out I got my PhD. With my undergrad at least I knew I was going to pass etc, just a question of how high and if any of the stupid exams had a significant affect. With a PhD, either pass or fail and realsie you wasted 5 years of your life.

Probably finding out that my wee bro;s twins were gonna be ok. They were born 3 months premature, and to make things more complicated for me. He lives in israel, he's ten years younger than me but the best fiend i have. The kids were pretty poorly for a few months, but when he rung me one night and said they were ok to go home, i was delighted for him and his partner.

Playing my first ever computer game after my parents bought our first PC. It was Dynamix's Red Baron , amazing game, back when flight simulators were still fun!

Sad I know, you'd think something more life changing like when I graduated from Uni, or got my first decent job, but they just don't compare to that moment lol.

Seeing Iron Maiden for the first time in 2008. The most incredible atmosphere I've ever experienced, a stunning summer's day in London and everyone with smiles on their faces jumping up and down, kids and their parents loving every second of it, it was just amazing. Left the arena grinning from ear to ear and don't think I stopped smiling for at least a week :p

Meeting a girl on holiday who ticked all the right boxes, this was then contrasted by one of the worst feelings the day she left and knowing we'll most likely never see each other again.

Probably when I passed my driving test 4 years ago. I passed my test aged 19 and I had been learning since I turned 17 (had a 7 month gap though in 2007) and how much work and stress it was when learning and leading up to passing (having to change instructors, as with the first one I was getting no where) and also failing my first test and feel like I had hit rock bottom with how hard I tried, but only for me to pick myself up and re-booking my test straight away, and have the dedication to keep going and eventually passing 2 months later on my second attempt. Not just the occasion of passing my test though, but the fact that it marked a particular time in my life where everything was going so well for me - having a job doing something I loved and was successful in and happily in love & living with a long term GF at the time.

...Funny how things change lol. This is not meant to sound like a depressing post as things are ok now but it could be better (by getting out of unemployment!) but for me passing my driving test is a time that I will remember for now as being a great/peak point in my life.

It's been nice to read some of the comments from other members on this thread relating to their children being born etc. :)

Edit - also seeing Iron Maiden for the first time last year comes close haha :D
