Hey everyone,

Decided I've had enough of my current job and need to do something totally different and new..

Was just wondering if anyone knew what the demand is like for Apple Engineers, as this might be something I'd like to look into.

I've found a few sits that do courses but didn't want to go any further until I found out what the job market is like??

I'd really appreciate any help or advice on this.

Thanks

Ricky

Get qualified and become part of the Apple Consultants Network (ACN).

I'm pretty sure you could get a job doing things that the geniuses (geniuii?) aren't trained to do and travel around.

Thanks for the info..

Perfect timing really because at work this afternoon I got given a letter saying im more or less being made redundant!! lol Im not even joking either..

lol@sig ^

If you find any more info on what an "Apple Engineer" is/does post it in this thread, I'd be interested to know.

Im a Sales Co-ordinator/Trainee Business Development Manager for a building maintenance company... The money is pretty good but the work is so boring, I have absolutely no interest in it at all.. Hopefully the redundancy will be a good thing and give me the kick up the arse I needed to move onto better things.

I'll have a look for more info (regarding apple engineer/technician) today and post it up..

I'd like to have a bash at doing some Apple certs (starting with ACSP) and so would be interested in knowing what the market is like...
