Morning all,

I had a little run with a Integra DC5 on the way to work this morning.

Boy! - They ain't slow...!

What's the standard power on these? ...and were they made for the JAP market only?

Thanks

DC5s were JDM import only, not available in the UK.

But yes they are pretty quick, more so on track as the handling is near perfect for a FWD car.

I've got a DC5. You'd really struggle in your Leon, the weight difference is the main advantage for the DC5, plus the gearing is stupidly short (4000 rpm in 6th at 80!).

Though I'd prefer your car for longer Journeys!

Well - We both gave it our best on 2 good runs on a dual carriage-way....

1st run - I started behind him - But I couldn't get past.

2nd run - From the lights - I was infront - But he couldn't get past me... but then at the same time... I couldn't pull away from him either...

His car had an exhaust system... so maybe only slightly modded.

I have pulled on a normal Civic Type R before... but this was definately faster... :)

Hehe had a race when i was running 260/270 in the coupe pulled about 4-5 lenghs by 100 on him we stoped had a chat he had loads done to his dc5 loads of hks stuff looked nice he was running around 250 as well but since the dc5 is a bit lighter and even though the coupe has a bit more power 2/3rd gear is so much better on the coupe.. nice cars though

(fiat coupe 20vt)

go here for stats but i would take it as a pinch of salt!!
