Whats with tescos poland food shelf?

There's definitely a demand, the polish couple who live in the room next to me buy nothing but polish products, even their toothpaste, which always made me laugh as it's made in Hampshire.

I still implore supermarkets to introduce me to various cuisine and confectionery from around the world, irregardless of their country of origin's native population within the UK.

We get 3 packs of Polish ham every week from Tesco. It's only a pound a pack (4 slices) but tastes great and far better quality than some of the rubbish supermarkets sell for more money.

This is the stuff:

You need to try some meats from a good Polish delicatessen. They’ll be far better than that.

Of course it's cheaper.

It's old.

The primary Polish immigration waves were a long time ago now so their population really is getting fairly large.

Most university campuses have Chinese food shops / aisles as they are the minority who are REALLY breaking into UK higher education.

I do find that Asian-specific shops or shelves are amazing for bulk rice or chicken, so great for bodybuilders.

I'd love to try some but I suspect Polish delicatessens are harder to come by here in Coventry than where you are. The ham in the pic is nice though. Perfect for a quick sarnie.

We have a large polish community here and they even have their own shop in town tha sells nothingbut polish food. Morrisons also has a section of polish food too.

our local one doesnt have this..but it does have a lot of indian sub continent specific items as we have a bangladeshi population rather than Polish

and as already pointed out the coconut milk is half the price in that section!! palm sugar and ghi are also cheap. Even better are the ready made pastes for curries plus the nibbles are awesome

You should try lutons asda on a Saturday, it's like walking into mos eisley cantina.
One of the world food sections in tesco sells some chilli crisps twirl shaped. Lovely.
