Lets have a good old moan about our cars :D

On the Scenic the steering wheel isn't in the middle of the drivers seat, it's offset to the left by about 2 inches. So when you're driving you lean over to the left to compensate and end up having to shuffle back to the middle to keep comfortable. Where the last owner was fatter than me the seat has squashed down more on that side and I roll into it.

Oh and the gearbox changes down when you're braking so the car doesn't pull up at a consistent rate. This is really annoying when trying to smoothly brake towards a queue of traffic.

What's yours?

once every 3 months or so, the brake lights wont work. i take out the brake light switch, put it back in again and all is fine for 3 months.

The fuel consumption on the S3 when cold is comical, maximum of 15mpg and about 6mpg when cold round town...

Ah well, it doesn't bother me, and annoying hippies is a bonus in my mind :)

clv will lynch you :)

Sometimes the aircon/heater will steam up my cougar, it rattles on some days, tracking needs fixing, and outside needs polishing, oh and my driver's side window is not winding down any more, need a new relay...

ive got an annoying rattle from my boot that I havn't been bothered to look at, think it's just where a plastic screw is missing from the brake light cover.

Also, a mechanic when guiding me onto some ramps DIDN'T tell me that my side skirt was gonna catch half way on, and just let it rip. Now I have a lovely 4" gash in my sideskirt :( Just so annoying to see it when i walk up to it.

Splitter keeps scraping speedbumps.
Bloody windows still rattle.
Temp sender for the stack is knackered.
Stone chips.
Couple of dinks in the grp behind passenger door.
Windscreen wiper is utter bobbins.
Heater and blower about as much use as a zip on a trifle.

My car is perfect :).

...except it hates rolling roads and is ridiculously cramped in the back for a 'large executive saloon' despiting having the largest boot known to man.

I miss having a rear wiper sometimes, and the interior lights don't have a timed cutoff like my last car so I've flattened the battery a couple of times when working on the car. The glovebox rattles and the CD changer doesn't like CD-Rs. My Xsara was better :p.

Water temp guage only works when it feels like it. Should probably get that looked at very soon!
The rear wiper again only works when it feels like it (dodgy wire somewere)
The fans seems to hoover all the dry leaves off the road and shreds them into the car, typically just after its been vacumed.
And for a 1.6 in a small car its gutless and drinks like a fish.

The back drivers side door handle doesn't work, needs new ratchet.
The cam position sensor has gone so needs replacing.

Previous problems which I sorted yesterday in a "mad sorting sesh":

Borked sunroof motor - installed a new one.
Boot handle wouldn't work - Elastic band holds it all tight again.
Brake light out - simple fix.
Sealed sub install not having enough air - ported it.
