What's your favourite xmas food?

expense, availability, sheer size you need to feed a lot of people, time to cook, calories.

If it wasn't for those details, I would eat Christmas food throughout the year.

Tbh, I don't think that excuse really works. Plenty of xmas foods are cheap and easily obtainable, such as mince pies, nuts, sprouts etc. And if people really liked them that much they wouldn't be limited to xmas.

Calories? If that were an issue people would eat cheeseburgers once a year too.

SPROUTS!

Good god I love brussel sprouts.

Dark green veg F T W & hairy chest!

Parcnip I'm not too sure on, bit tasteless. Although I understand this sometimes underpins an English Roast/Christmas dinner.

things like goose cost £60 a bird and feed a lot of people, smae with turkey although don't know the cost.

Mince pies are great but when would you eat them?
are you just going to start munching an extra mince pie a day as a snack? that's where calories come into it, and again aren't available throughout the year, unless you make them.

Things like sprouts are hard to get hold of throughout the year.

Any special meal or a normal dessert I would be hard pressed to make the same dish twice in a year.

No different to Monsieur Kipplings apple pies.

If people liked them they would be available.

Anything as long as it isn't Turkey! :p I don't mind turkey, but I just find it dull dull dull! :p

Mince pies have to be up there, but I also like Christmas pudding with lashings of brandy butter and cream!

Pigs in blankets are awesome, I also very much like mince pies and the chopped nut, sprout mix thing my mother makes

On a side note, I will be trying Christmas pudding for the first time in my 24-and-a-bit year existence this year
