What's your ringtone?

I have no idea, probably the default one, my phone is always on vibrate only.

I hate hearing other people's tacky ringtones blurt out in the office or during my commute, they look embarrassed as they rush to answer it unless it's some fool who's left their phone on their desk and wandered off somewhere.

Looney Toons - Merry Melodies theme - Ring Tone,
"By Your Command" Cylon - Text Message,
NCIS 'Swoosh' - Default & Facebook Notification,
Jawa "Utinni!" - GMail Notification,
Default Yahoo - Yahoo mail Notification,
LCARS Beep - Standard Email App.

I also have a few 'Custom' ring tones for some of my contacts (Imperial March for my Dad, Fraggle Rock for my Wife etc...)

I've never had my SGS2 on anything other than silent/vibrate.

Agreed with other people's dodgy ringtones. I work onsite with a client a couple of times a week and the boss has an airhorn at full volume as his ringtone. Annoying is an understatement, especially as he rarely answers it so it just rings and rings and rings.

Phone tone is one that comes with CM9, called 'Pyxis' - it's just a fairly standard modern phone ring sort of sound. Text message/notification is again another standard Android sound 'Polaris'.

First time I had a phone capable of using an MP3 as a ringtone I was all over it like a rash - I used to use Ultravox's 'Vienna' which I thought was very sophisticated and urbane, until the wife pointed out that the way it starts made it utterly useless as a ringtone, particularly if I'd left my mobile somewhere else in the house and was ringing it to try and find it.

I just think musical ringtones are a bit naff tbh - although it has to be said, I can understand what drives people to it, as the pre-installed selection on modern phones is just as crap as it was ten years ago, only now you get the same crap in stereo rather than mono :D

All of mine are here: http://robbiekhan.co.uk/root/android/files/Audio/

My ringtone is set as "Clank" found in the ringtones folders. I don't do fancy notifications and tones, much prefer unique short and simple blips that I've mashed together and ringers that instantly tell me what app is notifying me but isn't noticeably obvious to people around me that a notification has disturbed their piece.

Mine used to be the Smallville intro for a long time until Dec 2010 when I heard the TRON Legacy soundtrack by Daft Punk and changed it to the Derezzed theme. Edited it from around 10secs in just as the beat kicks in. I also use it for my wake up alarm. I describe that sountrack as AWESOMELY DIGITAL :D

And I will keep using that until I find something else that I feel will fit my ringtone mood. Whenever that may be. (I'm really holding out for what Hans Zimmer has in store for Man Of Steel next year :D)

Mmm bop.

Yes I stole it from house, but my old one was James Brown "I'm black and I'm proud"
Which if you're a white guy, for some reason you're not allowed to like.

Sometimes stock..sometimes nicki minaj..pound the alarm :-P
