Whats your Snowy Dilema of today?

the what??, im not very good at the anatomy tbh, explain to me in detail on how it felt, please. the arse isn't as bad as that my friend, hope your okay :)

I have a metal plate in my leg due to me breaking it earlier this year.. However it seems to be too long and overhangs and at point digs into the top of my foot... It's like a sharp shooting pain that goes away after 30+ seconds.. not to bad but still a pain in the arse.

I've had flu, sore throat, completely congested lungs (almost gone) and all that remains is an ear infection now. I can hear the blood pumping in my ear :D and the nerves make it feel as if I have tooth ache, sinus ache. So yeah, just man-flu.

All this whilst awaiting for a response on a job application. The agent is pushy on meeting face to face, so I've suggested a phone call.. as long as the minor infection in my other ear doesn't stop me from hearing!

I took off friday and monday (unpaid) because it was so bad.. worked from home today and the boss acknowledged I sounded like crap (so no suspicious 'oh long weekend' crap). A good choice as the office heating failed over the weekend resulting in a dead desk plant.

Snow's excellent and we're due more :) This will result in hellish travel and increase the likelihood of working from home for the rest of the week!

Tried to get a Transit up a short, sharp hill, with no space for a decent run up.

She ran out of steam half way up.

Three short, terrifying slides backward, before parking up somewhere flat and climbing the hill on foot.

I should've have done that first, really. Ambition over traction, or talent... :o Or more likely, common sense.

My girlfriend is currently out in it with her dad in his Landrover Discovery, they've been over to the stables where she keeps her horses out in the middle of nowhere and whilst there in the last 2 hours it's all just gone nuts and now they can't seem to get back due to the amount of crap that's just been dumped outta the sky.

The landrover is fine in it, it's all the other cars getting stuck blocking the roads :(

Worked from home and actually got more done than I usually do in the office and on site. I'm just wondering if I can do the same tomorrow, probably not but then again I'm not actually sure I can get the car out of the street and I need the car for my work, so public transport is a bit pointless.

Ah well, see if it snows again tonight!

I work in the transport office of a huge beer delivery company up here in Sheffield...yeah thats been fun today :(

Knee deep outside, and must be a good few inches on the main roads...in work for 5, think im screwed for tomorrow to be honest, just text my manager saying i may be struggling to get in which id rather not do as its going to be a nightmare in work tomorrow and as much as i hate it, there are a few people there i dont want to have to go through it alone :(

Went to work then had to endure 8 hours of employees moaning that they couldn't make it. Sucks to be in management on days like this where you are expected to go that extra mile but are compelled to give sympathy to others who blag a day off.

Hospitalised from snowballs! That's impressive!

On the way to work saw a 4x4 going down the hill sideways and knew it wasnt going to be a good day! Ended up leaving work at 1 as the snow was getting bad back home. Got home at 3 (which is 1hr longer than usual - not too shabby compared to others on here!). Working from home next few days me thinks due to the 10 or so inches of snow outside and rubbish transport. Awful public transport pays off for once!
