WhatsApp to work phone (different number)

I'm travelling with work for a few days and want to join a work WhatsApp group on my work phone. Is it best to use my current account/number from my personal phone? If so, how do I transfer it? Just put in my personal number when WhatsApp asks on my work phone during setup? I'm sure I did that before..

Or if I put in my work phone number I'm guessing that'll just be a new account and separate from my personal stuff?

I just created a separate account on my work number

I'm quite funny with who from work has my personal mobile number (also less chance of something being sent to a work group by accident when tipsy)
