If I didn't have milk I'd use orange or apple juice instead. I've done it before but that's more to do with absent-mindedness at the time than running out of milk, it tastes a bit unusual but I think probably still better than with water.

My nan butters Weetabix and eats them like crackers...

I dont think I could stomach cereal with water instead of milk!!

With muesli it's really quite nice. Not sure I would try it with weetabix.

Weetabix with hot water and sugar is not all that bad....certainly better than no breakfast at all.
