wheel bearing

it really depends how bad it is. It could go for years possibly. Jack it up and give the wheel a wobble from side to side.....if there is very little to no play then it will be fine.....if it wobbles quite a bit then i wouldnt drive it
 
Yeah, as above - I had a droning bearing for a few months before I decided to get it sorted, but there was minimal lateral wheel movement though.
