wheel, pedals and chair

Logitech Driving Force GT is about £80 new. If you play driving games much then I would say it definitely is worth it. Need a desk or some kind of stand though.

As for stands??...id recommend the wheelstandpro...only about £100 max from Poland and looking/reading reviews it looks like a nice piece of kit...i just had mine delivered this morning for my M$ wheel so havent had a chance to set it up....looks like ill be doing that tonight then get some F1 and Forza3 racing done.

Dunno why you'd order from Poland, here's the link though - http://www.wheelstandpro.com/unitedkingdom.html

:)

EDIT: I see, it's made in Poland :D

Their is little to criticise the stand about. Perhaps a modified or solid metal or wooden component for pedas would be more secure and help the weight to keep it steady.

At the money its a great buy and service is good from WSP.

Ive owned both the Fanatec and WSP models.
The Fanatec model is a bit bigger goes much higher and is heavier. Although the WSP can tilt forward and back giving a bit more adjustability. You shouldnt have a problem with the WSP height at normal seating.

If you have room your much better considering a cockpit, look at game racer, playseat, gto mega. Also see gamepod as they sell a great cockpit and a wheelstand also.

You could easily spend £700 on a Fanatec wheel and Gamepod cockpit or about half that with a cheaper wheel and less expensive cockpit.

Thats the thing if i had the room id have plumped for a cockpit setup but as i havent then next best thing is the WSP which fits my playing space in my room perfectly.

Id have loved to get the fanatec and cockpit setup but like i said its a case of not having the room...nothing to do with affording it as i could easily shell out £700+ for a setup like that although the fiancee would have a heart attack as im currently saving up for our wedding...shes not gonna be pleased when she sees i have bought the WSP:p

Tell her it was £20, highly likely!

Has anyone got any pics or write ups on home made cockpits? There's no way im shelling out hundreds of pounds for some basic metal tubing and a seat, I'd prefer to make my own for less than £50.

Ermm that wont work as she checks our bank account, joint ill add every day;)....seriously though i just told her and she said its cool...she doesnt stop me from enjoying my money as it is but i cant see her agreeing to me buying a cockpit setup:p
