Remember when a conversation could start, "In America they do it this way..." And it was seen as an example of how things should be done, a benchmark.

Wow, have things changed. It makes me cringe to watch Trump, not in a hateful way, I just find it genuinely embarrassing for them. Here we are in the midst of a pandemic, and you could be forgiven for thinking, "it might be bad, but at least it's not America"

Still a benchmark, but the graph's been rotated 180 degrees.
