When does the new models for mountain bikes comes out?

Because i don't want to buy one now and it'll be last year's model in a week's time. I've heard that its in July, so is that mean buying a bke now is a bad idea?

I seem to recall that it is normally around July time but I'm by no means certain and some manufacturers release mid-season models as well. I really wouldn't concern yourself with the fact that the bike will be "last seasons" unless you are looking at last season in terms of bargains. Last season models often offer great value for money but in terms of performance you are unlikely to notice the difference between this season and last season unless you are a top pro rider.

I would say August / September is when shops might start to clear bikes out.

As SPW says though, it's rare the change from model year to the next is massive unless it's something like a frame change (eg the Slayer for this year). Usually it's stuff like a colour change and different bits eg Avid brakes instead of Hayes.
