David Seaman going to come along? ;)

it seems like since he got too old... we've had a real drout of good keepers... Robinson is compitent but thats about it... as for david james... ;)

Seaman was brilliant... he made me want to be a goalie (aswell as manage to break my arm saving a goal... don't ask how :p)

robinson looked too fat for me. you could have projected a movie on his backside
harsh. I thought Robinson was quite reliable today, and you're not exactly expected to save every penalty so he did well. I think that english clubs should look towards national upcoming youths more than they do just go abroad in some cases but yeh, we'll have to wait and see.

:)

Robinson didnt do anything wrong. he's made no mistakes for England the whold tournament and dont think he ever has.

as for Seaman, good keeper but was prone to the odd error. high profile ones too

Robinson did good this whole tournament with a handfull of brilliant saves. He just didn't do to well in the penalty shootout.

He did his job and didn't do anything wrong really, it's the penalty takers that let us down.

I didn't think Robinson could have done much more in the shootout. Unlike us the Portugese know how to take penalties. Whilst I give due credit to Ricardo for saving our attempts, they were all very poor penalties. They only players who hit the ball with any confidence were Hargreaves and Carragher (1st attempt).

We've already got him. He played yesterday.

Scott Carson is going to be a very good keeper too.
