Why wouldn't you wet the paste? it's all icky and harder to spread without any water!

Wet brush, apply paste, wet paste, brush teeth

and throughout the entire time I leave the tap running, probably waste about 10 litres while doing it lol

I just noticed I do it too.

I was reading an article once and the author wrote, "as I was rinsing my mouth after brushing my teeth...". Why would you rinse the toothpaste out of your mouth?! It's close to idiotic. You should leave it in there. It's far better for your teeth.

I brush my teeth first with a dry toothbrush for about 30 secs just to aggravate the plaque when wet toothbrush add toothpaste carry on as normal, oh I also brush my tongue too and try not retching

You should eliminate the last two steps. They're doing more harm than good.

Most mouthwash has alcohol which is bad for your gums, they only put it in to give you that 'fresh feeling'. By using mouthwash you're washing all the toothpaste out which is ironically better for your mouth than most mouthwash. Don't believe me, ask your dentist. If you must use mouthwash, use Fluorigard.

My dentist told me that if I didn't use mouthwash or at least water after brushing then I'd just be brushing the plaque around my mouth, or words to that effect.

I brush twice a day

I wet the brush, apply toothpaste and wet toothpaste. All under cold water.

I use Sensodyne, so I consider it a CHALLENGE ACCEPTED using the cold water.

I use a Brillo pad and Bleach then wash my mouth out with Dettol. Or if it's a particular bad morning, like having a greasy kebab the night before I use a Bic razor to scrape my teeth.










On a serious note I too rinse the brush add paste and rinse again.

I squeeze the toothpaste in to the brush head and I just quickly pop it under the water like OP, but not for 3 seconds.
